COVID-19: Supporting Our Communities

2020

In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, countless members of hospitals, police departments, and other social workers have stepped up to protect and support our communities. As these heroes continue to risk their lives in this battle against COVID-19, G.I.V.E. volunteers have decided to express our appreciation to local post office and police stations.

With a generous donation of 1000 hand sanitizers from IDEN Cosmetics, our volunteers set off to contact local departments and organize delivery runs to these locations. We were able to hand deliver sanitizer bottles to homeless shelters, post offices, police stations, and domestic violence shelters at 18 locations across 10 cities all over Southern California. Beginning with locations in Fullerton, Buena Park, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Cypress, Placentia, La Habra, Los Angeles, Chino Hills, and Whittier, G.I.V.E. plans to continue donating these tokens of gratitude to more cities throughout the Southern California region.

With this community project, G.I.V.E. strives to extend a helping hand and support our local heroes. Thank you to our social workers and we hope everyone can stay happy and healthy.
