Here at G.I.V.E., we want to be a catalyst for positive change, and with over 7 years of volunteering experience, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Learn more about our mission, our vision, and how we go about making the changes we want to see.
ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE
Mission Statement
Cal GIVE Foundation, in partnership with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton and Anaheim Higher Ground Youth & Family Services, is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to expanding educational access and opportunity for underserved and low-income students and families. Our volunteers range from junior high through college, united by a shared mission to support youth who face barriers to academic enrichment, college access, and essential resources. We offer music, STEM, and English tutoring, providing in-person programming throughout Southern California and virtual tutoring nationwide.
We serve students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, including youth experiencing homelessness, refugees, families in crisis, and communities with limited access to educational and enrichment programs. Through both in-person and virtual programming, Cal GIVE Foundation works to ensure students are not defined by circumstance, but empowered by opportunity.

Cal GIVE Foundation strives to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment where students can discover their interests, build confidence, and envision pathways to college and career success. Through consistent, tutor-based guidance, we foster both academic growth and personal development. At the same time, our volunteers gain valuable leadership, communication, collaboration, and character-building skills through weekly service and mentorship, forming strong bonds with the students they serve.

In response to evolving community needs, Cal GIVE Foundation has led direct community involvement initiatives, including children’s well-being and hunger relief efforts and service projects supporting homeless shelters, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, refugees, and families in need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteers launched the Supporting Our Communities Project, distributing hand sanitizer and mask supplies to first responders and essential workers across 11 cities in Orange County and Los Angeles County, while transitioning weekly tutoring sessions to online platforms to ensure educational continuity.

Today, while our physical programs are based in Southern California, Cal GIVE Foundation provides nationwide and global outreach through virtual education and service initiatives. With nearly a decade of impact, we continue to expand access to education, enrichment, and opportunity for the communities that need it most.
Who We Serve
We support underserved and low-income students and families, including youth facing barriers to college access, students experiencing homelessness, students with mental illnesses, refugees, and communities with limited educational resources. to improve children well-being and provide hunger relief. Our programs are designed for those who are often excluded from enrichment and opportunity pathways.

Our Tutoring Service
Our core programming centers on education and enrichment. Through hands-on learning experiences, we strengthen students’ academic foundations, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Our enrichment offerings extend beyond traditional instruction to include science experiments, music education, and handcraft-based art, supporting cognitive development, problem-solving, and self-expression. Student showcases and interactive activities allow participants to apply and share what they learn in meaningful ways.
Where We Work
Our physical venues--our in-person programs--operate throughout Southern California, while our virtual initiatives allow us to reach communities across the United States, such as Texas, Illinois, and more. We also provide both nationwide and global outreach initiatives.
